Job description: The 4*Bridge House Hotel Tullamore is one of Ireland’s most popular landmark hotels and is centrally located in the thriving midlands town of Tullamore at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East.The Bridge House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Weddings Executive to join their existing team.Responsibilities

• To deal with all wedding enquiries from initial call to handing over to the operations team on the day.
• Act as the main point of contact for couples from the initial booking stage through to their wedding day.
• Provide a warm and professional welcome to couples on their wedding day, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for.
• Assist with all queries related to weddings and event bookings.
• To conduct show-rounds to prospective brides and groom and up-selling all products on offer, in order to maximize revenue.
• Responsible for handling all incoming enquiries, quoting rates and selling hotel facilities.
• To take and confirm bookings for all weddings and work closely with the clients regarding final details for their day.
• To attend wedding fairs/showcases as required.
• To ensure the correct billing of each event and the administration associated with it.
• To follow the correct procedure for accepting and processing payments, both for deposits and in relation to the final wedding bill.
• Complete floor plans as and when required.
• Co-ordinate with vendors when required.
• Work closely with the Head Chef & Conference and Banqueting team regarding all wedding requirements
• Research competitors on Wedding trends, offerings, and pricing. Ensure the company remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
• Assist the wider sales department as and when required.
