These values shape our culture and commitment to excellence, making Tayco a dynamic and rewarding workplace.Position SummaryThis four-month co-op opportunity (May to August) offers hands-on experience in web and digital marketing, including website management, SEO, and content creation within a dynamic business environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable industry knowledge while assisting in website updates, digital campaigns, and strategies to enhance online visibility and audience engagement.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in building, testing, and executing new product launch materials and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Team.
• Support the development of email marketing strategies, including delivery timing and creative layouts.
• Help maintain and enhance Tayco’s brand by assisting in the creation and refinement of marketing collateral.
• Stay up to date with current online marketing trends and practices, sharing insights with the team.
• Support the monitoring of marketing programs for accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness by gathering and organizing relevant data.

Digital/Graphic Design

• Assist in executing digital marketing strategies by utilizing basic graphic design skills and a keen eye for design.
• Help create layouts and graphics for print materials, including Tayco and BRC brochures, sales sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist, Content Creator to develop graphics and infographics for social media and e-blasts.
• Provide support in the creation of Tayco’s annual Look Book by assisting with design and content organization.
• Assist in coordinating updates to Tayco and BRC price books and other digital collateral.
• Help collect and organize data for reporting and analyzing website, e-blast, social media, and targeting campaign analytics, working with the Marketing Manager to refine strategies.
• Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on marketing strategies, statistics, and results.
• Assist in generating and compiling monthly lead reports from HubSpot, MyResource Library, and other sources to share with the Sales Team.

Other

• Acting as a support to the marketing and sales teams at special events and tradeshows, as required.
• Proving administrative support as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Conducting keyword gap analysis for both Tayco and BRC websites including searching trends for new keywords and planning to reduce the gap.

Requirements:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or enrolled in a post-graduate marketing program.
• Experience with digital marketing, website management, SEO, or content creation through coursework, internships, or personal projects is preferred.
• Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as an understanding of web design principles.
• Familiarity with keyword research, SEO best practices, and website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience with content writing for websites, email marketing, and social media platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to assist in creating engaging digital marketing content.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on tasks with minimal supervision.
• A portfolio of school assignments, projects, or previous work related to web and digital marketing is preferred.
