Your duties will involve maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will work closely with nursing and medical staff to provide essential non-clinical support within the wardEfficiently transfer and transport patients, equipment, and furniture around the campus as directed by the Wardspersons Supervisor.Assist with the collection and delivery of blood products, medications, and specimens to various departments, ensuring timely and safe handling.Follow infection control procedures and assist in basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.About youPrevious experience in a healthcare setting or similar role is desirable but not essential.Ability to work effectively as part of a team &Strong communication skills and attention to detail.A positive attitude and a caring approach to patient and staff interaction.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varying demands and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workplace.Committed to working a 7-day rotating roster.Why work at St Vincent’s?Join us on our mission to provide care to all, including the most at-risk people in our communityDiscounted access to many gyms for you and your family with Fitness PassportAccess to discounted private health insurance with MedibankAccess to a government salary sacrifice program.
