Shifts: Day and Evening Shifts – On-Call RequiredKey Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, ensuring therapeutic assessment, interventions, and care plans for patients.
- Participate in patient populations’ therapeutic care, aligning with the pharmacy enterprise’s vision.
- Ensure the safe, effective, and cost-effective use of medications tailored to patients’ individual conditions.
- Deliver accurate drug information to healthcare providers, nurses, and patients.
- Advocate for formulary management and contribute to pharmacy and therapeutics initiatives.
- Coordinate drug distribution services throughout the pharmacy enterprise.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants, providing guidance and support.
- Instruct, model, and mentor pharmacy staff, students, and residents.
- Participate in medication quality activities, reporting adverse drug events and working to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to the improvement of the medication use system and assist in implementing solutions.
- Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacist License
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience required
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care focus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers
- Ability to supervise and train pharmacy staff
- On-call availability as required
