Job description: Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day risk management of various business lines including brokerage, margin financing, futures, stock options, structured financing etc.;
• Perform daily market monitoring and analyze market trends to provide actionable insights for business lines; Analyze market news and incidents, conduct assessment of clients, collaterals and counterparties, offering professional risk and strategic recommendations based on findings.
• Monitor and maintain margin levels, ensuring compliance with internal policies; Conduct daily margin calls and enforce sell orders as necessary to manage risk and protect client interests.
• Compose daily/monthly/ad hoc internal risk management reports;
• Develop and maintain credit risk policies and ensure the operation procedures has fulfilled the policy and compliance requirements;
• Work closely with front office, head office and other stakeholders in risk management of the business;
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline;
• 5 years+ experience in financial services industry with exposures to margin financing and futures risk management;
• Sound knowledge of the SFC Guidelines, Securities and Futures Ordinance and relevant regulations;
• Professional qualifications will be an advantage (CFA, FRM, CPA, etc.);
• Proficient in MS Office, Oracle Hyperion and practical skill in programming (e.g. VBA, Python);
• Good communication skills, fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, proficient in Chinese writing.
