Leading the strategic planning process, facilitating strategic dialogues across business units and functions to align objectives and priorities with company visionDeveloping and maintaining a comprehensive strategic roadmap, identifying key growth opportunities and assessing potential risks and challengesOverseeing the development of robust business cases to support strategic investments and initiatives, ensuring thorough financial and operational analysisEstablishing and driving a comprehensive performance management framework, including the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs), target setting and performance monitoring mechanismsLeading a team of professionals within the strategic planning and performance management function, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their professional developmentCollaborating closely with finance, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational executionPresenting strategic plans and performance reports to the executive leadership team and the board of directorsProfile
A strong academic background, ideally with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldA proven track record of success working for an international consulting firm within the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a blend of both consulting and in-house industry strategic planning experienceHighly desirable sector experience within the utilities industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the sector’s dynamics and challengesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insightsA hands-on, proactive approach and a demonstrated ability to both develop strategy and drive implementationStrong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing and developing a teamExcellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership through your story telling expertiseJob Offer
