Job description: Responsibilities
– Work closely with management, business team, and external counsel in drafting, negotiating and executing all necessary legal documentation
– Partner with Business and Compliance regarding contentious and regulatory matters, and prepare submissions and correspondences to regulators and counterparties
– Handle contentious and regulatory matters, coordinate with external counsel, ensure high-quality service, and control costs.
– Advise management on legal issues and practices, focusing on effective management and mitigation of litigation, claims, and enforcement risks.
– Advise management on legal risks and business strategies.
– Handle ad hoc internal projects and other assigned responsibilities, such as training and developing procedures, precedents, and checklists.Requirements
– Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 8+ years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
– Preferred experience in regulatory enforcement
– Highly preferred experience in corporate law, preferably in the financial services and investment industries.
