This role is a highly visible and strategic role that develops and delivers global strategies and tactical asset plans through co-leadership of the cross-functional Global Asset Team.In LEO Pharma we share a “challenge accepted” mindset and are guided by our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability, to achieve our goals.Your roleThe overall objective of the role is to be responsible for leading Global Asset Teams (GATs) to develop asset strategies, building and maintaining a high performing GAT, developing and executing the agreed development plan within budget and timelines resulting in an approved label which reflects the TPP and developing early lifecycle management plans for the asset.Strategic Leadership:

• Define and communicate the asset vision and strategy.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated development plans.
• Ensure strategies align with competitive landscape, scientific advancements, and patient needs.

Team Management:

• Build and maintain a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Select, motivate, and guide team members to achieve goals.
• Foster team effectiveness and engagement across global, remote teams.

Program Execution:

• Oversee development plans to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Maximize value by managing risks, resources, and opportunities.
• Develop and refine Target Product Profiles (TPPs) with commercial leads.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the GAT at corporate, regulatory, and external meetings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in R&D leadership activities and business development initiatives.
• Attend relevant scientific meetings and congresses.
• Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of driving drug development programs in a dynamic environment and is based at our Global Headoffice in Ballerup, Denmark.Your qualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications and experience:

• Advanced degree (MD/PhD preferred) or relevant academic background with 15+ years of pharmaceutical drug development experience.
• Proven leadership skills with expertise in situational leadership and emotional intelligence.
• Strong communicator with the ability to present strategies and data effectively.
• Results-driven professional with deep knowledge of drug development processes and phases.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing programs or lifecycle management initiatives.
• Familiarity with project management principles and enterprise-wide thinking.
• Senior-level experience, ideally in autoimmune or immune-related therapy development.
• Passionate, high-energy individual committed to delivering patient-focused solutions.
