Job description:

• Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of internal financial reporting for Global Markets.
• Monitor, track, and highlight the financial performance for GM management.
• Prepare GM management presentations to better reflect GM deliverables and performance.
• Ensure effective management and control of expenses.
• GM divisional OP planner.
• A key stakeholder in GM’s ICAAP exercise and BNM stress test.
• Oversee GM’s payment and GL entries/confirmation.
• Act as a subject matter expert on accounting standards and provide advisory services, including impact assessments related to GM.
• GM’s vendor and gift management.
• Furnish required reports for internal/external auditors and regulatory bodies promptly and accurately.
• Enhance existing financial reporting processes and procedures to mitigate potential operational risks across the full spectrum of GM business activities.
• Lead financial analytics and finance-related projects/changes due to new or revised accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or related fields is required.
• Candidates with global markets experience, related product knowledge, or PPKM qualification will have an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision are required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates must have a strong interest in global markets and a passion for finance and technological advancement
