As a Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for various tasks and responsibilities aimed at supporting strategic growth, transformation, and business development initiatives.At the head office in Esbjerg, you will report to the VP of Products, Marketing & Strategy and become part of the strategic consulting team, which consists of four colleagues.The department drives value creation by providing strategic insights, solving complex challenges, and acting as a sparring partner in forming actionable strategies. Furthermore, the team acts as change agents, ensuring consistent, anchored strategies/processes and delivering clear, actionable reporting to support innovation and competitive advantage.In this role, we expect you to lead and drive strategic projects, take ownership of processes, and work closely with the global organization to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and implement strategies that enhance performance and drive growth.Our way of working is fast-paced and collaborative, utilizing the latest digital tools and best practices. The work culture is flexible and informal – there is good energy and a strong team spirit.In cooperation with VIKING’s Group Management team and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
Annually, up to 10-20 global travel days must be expected.Your Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in business strategy, operations, and change management. You have experience in a similar position within an international company and have demonstrated proven results in identifying and implementing improvements.Your educational background matches the level required for the position and could be a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.You have a solid business understanding of the full value chain and are capable of driving the identification, planning, and implementation of large, complex global projects. Furthermore, you have excellent communication and presentation abilities.Your working style is relationship-building, structured, and professional – with a “can do” attitude.Other qualifications include:
Your personality is also important. We expect you to be a team player, open-minded, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results. You have the ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and you are capable of delivering a message at a strategic level while conveying complex issues in a simple manner.If you have experience within the maritime or offshore safety industry or similar, it’s an advantage but not a requirement.VIKING offers
