This role will be part of our exciting new project launch team with the opportunity to be part of the initial team that builds this new business lane from the ground up. If you’re inspired by a new challenge and want to make your mark on a rapidly growing business, this position may be for you.As a Vendor Manager, you’ll be a passionate customer and vendor advocate within Amazon. We’re looking for candidates that possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, together with proven commercial knowledge and experience. This role requires a strategic leader with the right mix of product management and vendor management that can work with existing category teams and vendors to champion our new project, bringing relevant selection and competitive prices. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility and commitment.To excel in this role, you will leverage:
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn trust and influence as well as to hold stakeholders, often more senior than you, accountable for high standards
– Learning-based problem-solving: breaking down issues into work streams, working backwards from key deadlines

Our inclusive environment encourages creative thinking and empowers team members to contribute meaningful solutions that shape our future growth.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
– 3+ years of with Excel experience
– Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
– Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
– Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product developmentAcknowledgement of country:
