Everyone is committed to delivering great outcomes for our customers, and you will have the chance to change the face of payments and commerce for Australian businesses.About the roleAs a Vendor Manager at Tyro, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless collaboration with our external suppliers, from terminal hardware and software providers to logistics partners and collateral suppliers. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Strategic Product Vendors, you’ll be the go-to person for managing operational relationships, resolving challenges, and driving efficiencies across the business.In this role, you’ll partner with teams across Tyro using your insights to streamline processes and enhance our merchant experience. You’ll also be the escalation point for supplier-related issues, helping to keep things running smoothly for both our internal teams and external partners.If you thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment and love building strong relationships, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact at Tyro.What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring they meet service levels, drive efficiencies, and align with Tyro’s strategic goals.
• Manage terminal stock forecasting, purchase orders, and reconciliation activities to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages.
• Develop, enhance, and embed best practices for terminal logistics, new product releases, and supplier operations.
• Monitor supplier costs, manage spend within budget, and drive long-term savings while ensuring operational excellence.
• Work closely with teams across Growth, Health, Finance, Technology, Operations, and Product to share insights and enhance processes.
• Act as the escalation point for terminal operations and logistics, supporting incident resolution and ensuring compliance with service agreements.

What you’ll bring:

• Background in Financial Institutions, Payments, or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets, with the ability to analyse complex problems and navigate ambiguity.
• Effective collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience in inventory management and supply chain operations is beneficial but not essential.
