Job description: Position Summary This position shall be responsible for managing the necessary shared services and support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) to ensure attainment of Supply Chain Team and company objectives by: Managing the accreditation of vendors to ensure that the company has a pool of essential and best in class vendors. Managing suppliers to maximize value to the organization thru performance management, and rationalization; Ensuring accreditation and performance policies and processes are aligned with AboitizPower policy Roles and Responsibilities Manages the procurement vendor database management system to ensure vendor data are accurate and updated Identifies and implements criteria for pre-screening of vendors Evaluates the accreditation documents of vendors across the BU to ensure compliance to BU requirements Conducts vendor assemblies when necessary to orient and update vendors on procurement policies, guidelines, and Aboitiz values and to ensure that vendors are aligned to corporate objectives Reviews and evaluates the execution of due diligence activities including assessing the risk profile of the vendor against potential awards by the BU Conducts vendor appraisal / performance regularly Institutes the necessary disciplinary action for non-performing or erring vendors and ensures that this is communicated with the vendor Ensures status of vendors are updated in the system Collaborates with various stakeholders (strategic sourcing specialists, technical team, etc) to identify metrics in the assessment of vendor performance for major contracts and ensures performance is reviewed at critical milestones Performs regular rationalization of vendor base to identify high and non-performing suppliers, clean up the vendor master and create a lean vendor base Manages suppliers to maximize value to the organization and minimize risk by working with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Operations team to initiate supplier improvement initiatives (supplier relationship management) Regularly communicates plans and progress to the whole SCM Sector to ensure alignment and influence adoption of cost reduction strategies Supports various SCM teams to attain their targets and objectives Conforms to the company’s Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Asset Management, Energy Management, Business Continuity Management System and Information Security Management Systems policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 55001, ISO 50001, and ISO 22301 Standards. Reports Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety events/incidents or potential events, or other security risks to the organization/ committees-in-charge. Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference in accordance with ISMS policies Maintains availability, confidentiality, and integrity of documents Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the TL Qualifications Education: Any 4-year business related or Behavioral Science course Professional: At least 2 years experience in SCM or related fields is preferred
