Farm Bureau CenterOverviewUnderwriting Support Specialist ObjectiveTo assist in the evaluation of clients eligibility for insurance. To retain knowledge of acceptance and rejection rules and guidelines, pricing, classification, and hazard recognition. To provide service to policyholders, Farm Bureau Insurance agents and their staff. To assist with day-to-day activities by processing routine underwriting transactions. To compile and maintain information necessary for various underwriting actions or decisions. To review and manage claim memos, activities, and reports to assist in the underwriting review process.ResponsibilitiesUnderwriting Support Specialist ResponsibilitiesAcquire and maintain product and technical knowledge with regard to coverage forms and endorsements for risk evaluation.Review documentation and request documentation when necessary.Analyze and complete activities within authority limit.
