As a company we’re known in the industry as a group dedicated to giving back to the community by partnering with charitable groups and actively participating in fundraising events.About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated Underwriting Assistant to join our Underwriting Support team in Auckland to provide administrative support and assist with the day-to-day underwriting processes.This role will see responsibility for:
- Triage/Filing/Workflow organisation of the DUAL Shared Mailbox
- Processing outstanding SME business to ensure all business is up to date
- Assisting with back dated filing to internal systems to ensure that all files are up to date
- Issuing timely and accurate policy documentation and liaising with Brokers if closings are incorrect
- Ensuring Mid-term adjustments, Endorsements, Renewals and New Business closings from the broker match terms given by the Underwriter prior to processing
- Developing working relationships with broker administration staff and Underwriters
- Clearing Pending Cash report in timely manner and report to Manager on outstanding items
- Coverage of DUAL’s main phone line as required
- Assisting Underwriters with administration tasks or other ad hoc duties as required
About YouAs a strong communicator with a passion for customer service you will be confident in providing quality service to DUAL’s clients in a timely manner. With a background in insurance or administration you will also demonstrate a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
