• Continuous performance monitoring of the current portfolio using metrics and models.
• Meeting with key clients to discuss market conditions and pricing trends.
• Data analysis and reporting on profitability, rating, and regulatory aspects.
• Assisting across underwriting, governance and regulatory frameworks.

Overview:

• The role is both analytical and client facing, managing a significant and growing book of delegated authority business.
• The candidate will need strong analytical and numerical skills, computer literacy, and knowledge of insurance pricing and reserving.
• The candidate will work with multiple functional areas, including underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial and senior management.

Desirable Qualifications and Attributes:

• A university degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial or economics.
• Part qualified Actuary or significant (re)insurance Underwriting experience.
• Experience in personal lines, especially Home pricing.
• High level of competency using Excel, SQL, R / python, Emblem, or similar.
• Team player, independent, problem solver, and goal oriented.
