In the Nordics we are an organization of 140 employees.We are now looking for an Underwriter for a 12-month maternity cover position in our Financial Lines team in Copenhagen – a team of in total 5 highly skilled and motivated professionals. The role will within Financial Lines be focused on our Middle Market portfolios in Danish and Norway, but you will also work closely with colleagues across the Nordic countries and with our Renewal underwriting team in Madrid.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person with relevant experience to join an international and dynamic organization where you have all opportunities to learn and develop your skills within Financial Lines and support Chubb in delivering and developing our underwriting service to our brokers and clients.As an Underwriter your key focus will be: * Market facing underwriting of both renewals but also new business opportunities within mainly the following products:

• Directors and Officers Liability – both Domestic and Multinational business
• Crime and Netbank insurance
• Employment Practice Liability
• Key Account Management for selected clients
• Support and train our Renewal underwriting team in Madrid

You will report to the Head of Middle Market for Denmark & Norway.Your key responsibilities as a Financial Lines Underwriter will be to:

• Conduct independent underwriting & negotiations which includes risk assessment and pricing of both renewal and new business opportunities as well as independently negotiating with brokers on price, conditions and more.
• Sales & Market related activities:

• Represent and promote Chubb to brokers and clients, and thereby increasing Chubb market visibility. This includes local & international meetings and social activities with brokers.
• Maximise cross selling in collaboration with our other lines of business.
• Support the Nordic Line Manager in implementation of portfolio actions.

• Relevant academic qualifications
• Preferably 2-5 years of experience within financial analysis / financial lines underwriting within financial products or similar experience
• Experience of working in a multinational environment
• Demonstrated achievements, experience and skills in risk analysis within the financial sector
• Excellent communication and commercial skills
• Experience in negotiating and attracting profitable business
• Danish and English on a professional level – written and spoken
• Self-driven and proactive with a Can-do attitude
• Proficient in MS Office tools and the ability to follow a steep learning curve for similar tools used in underwriting.
