Job description: Job Description:If you’re interested in developing your career within one of the largest commercial insurers in the world, then we would love to hear from you!This role extends to all Chubb European Group managed entities, including the France domiciled insurance company, Chubb European Group SE, the Lloyd’s syndicate, Chubb Life Europe SE and Emerging Market regions.As part of a team of three Investment & Treasury Analysts, reporting to the European Treasurer, the role encompasses management reporting of all aspects of the Investment Treasury function. This includes preparation of monthly reconciliations and analytical review of the investment performance and cash flow.Other key aspects of the role include preparation of quarterly Solvency II reporting as well as investment related data for statutory returns, internal reporting, regulatory returns, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and other Investment and Treasury related projects as required.Key responsibilities:
- Monthly investment reconciliations and reporting of investment holdings and investment bank accounts
- Book Investment related invoices for settlement via Accounts Payable system and reconcile monthly to paid summary
- Quarterly Management reporting analysis and submission including risk reporting, performance, and holdings
- Preparation of Investment and Management Committee meetings including production and collation of slides and distribution of minutes
- Quarterly Solvency II submissions for investments
- Quarterly and Annual reporting for statutory, regulatory and internal reporting.
- Requests from Custodian and Investment managers relating to KYC, Tax and Due diligence documentation.
Qualifications:Required skills & experience:
- A knowledge of Investment Accounting processes (US GAAP / French GAAP preferable)
- Lloyd’s Syndicate investment reporting (beneficial)
- Solvency II reporting
- Management reporting – provide analysis and commentary
- Treasury related experience
- Excel and Word essential
- Full or part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or ACMT preferred
