Job description: Workload: 100%Join Axpo Solutions AG’s Risk Management Department as a Trading Regulation Manager and step into a dynamic role at the crossroads of energy markets, technology, and regulatory. You’ll shape governance frameworks for algorithmic trading, monitor market activities, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations like Swiss BATE, REMIT II, and MiFID II in a fast-paced trading environment.What you will do:

Develop and refine governance frameworks for algorithmic trading.
Execute and document validations of trading algorithms.
Monitor and analyze trading activities using advanced surveillance tools to detect unusual patterns.
Support regulatory reporting processes and coordinate responses to authorities.
Collaborate with Trading, Risk, and Legal teams to address risk issues and regulatory challenges.
Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate compliance risks.

What you bring & who you are:

Degree in financial IT, finance, economics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in banking, commodity trading, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Strong analytical skills with a solution-driven, proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills to master regulatory and technical topics effectively.
Fluent in English; German is highly desirable, additional European languages are a plus.
