Job description: Queensland Rail is an integrated customer and rail infrastructure business servicing the passenger, tourism, resources and freight customer markets throughout Queensland.About the roleOur Presentation team in Gracemere currently has an opportunity for a cleaner (internally known as Tilt Train Presentation Attendant) to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role you will work with an experienced team of four to five people on any given shift and will be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality cleaning service on the interior and exterior of our Rockhampton Tilt Train carriages (and other passenger trains as required). This will involve using various cleaning chemicals and tools, while working quickly and safely to ensure that the carriages are ready for use by required deadlines.The responsibilities of a Tilt Train Presentation Attendant include:

• Clean and provide a high-quality presentation of the Rockhampton Tilt Train and other passenger trains as required
• Perform minor maintenance in accordance with the relevant procedures and instructions
• Ensure accurate data entry of component tracing and maintenance scheduling
• Observe and work within all relevant safety and environmental requirements
• Perform all other associated duties and functions necessary for the efficient operation of the depot
• Work in a co-operative relationship with all other employees while carrying out the duties

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have the following:

• Substantial skill in working co-operatively and productively with other employees involved in cleaning, minor maintenance or similar activities
• Substantial level of interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Substantial manual dexterity and co-ordination skills
• Previous industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable

For further information please view theHours & SalaryThis is a fixed term role (until 20.06.2025) with an annual base salary of $68,000 + penalty rates + 12.75% super. Shift times will vary depending on the day of the week. The two main shift times are 1730 – 0230 and 1900 – 0400.
