We believe that test analysts have the most impact when they engage early in the SDLC, understand and discuss business requirements and help translate those to testable product specifications in the form of test scenarios. As a test analyst you will make sure team deliverables are validated against those specifications. This role will involve interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including our customers, business analysts and engineers. You will work in a multidisciplinary team where effective collaboration is of the essence. You will play a part in both Business as Usual (BAU) assignments as well as projects. As an intermediate test analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to team growth by serving as a positive influence for technical bestThe Specifics· Bring a test first attitude that reduces risk early. You believe in building to specification over testing what we’ve built.· Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to clarify requirements and establish understanding· Specify acceptance criteria in the form of test scenarios, and validate our deliverables accordingly· Establish a good functional understanding of our products· Take part in all team ceremonies and contribute to planning, scoping, estimating.· Undertake hands-on testing as needed, contributing to end-to-end test delivery phases.· Guide and mentor team members, promoting technical best practices.· Accurately record timesheets and charge services time.· Tailor solutions to meet customers’ needs.· Uphold occupational health and safety practices.· Fulfil additional duties as reasonably requested by the direct line leader.What we’re looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):· 3+ years of commercial software testing experience.· Strong experience and knowledge of software testing lifecycle with Agile, Waterfall, and mixed methodologies.· Proficiency in testing management tools such as Enterprise Test, Team Foundation Server, HPQC, Selenium, SOAPUI, Jenkins, Gherkin, and JIRA.· Positive attitude, optimism, common sense, and a sense of humour.· Passion for excellence and commitment to being the best.· High attention to detail.· Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.· Open-minded consultative approach.· Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.· Creative problem-solving ability.· Relevant tertiary education.· ISTQB Foundation certification.· Specialised skills in billing systems, CRM knowledge, programming/software development, test automation, and process improvement.What we offer in return:· Personal growth – in leadership, commercial acumen and technical excellence· To be part of a global, winning high growth organization – with a career path to match· A vibrant culture full of people passionate about transformation and making a difference -with a one team, collaborative ethos· A competitive reward package that truly awards our top talent· A chance to make a true impact on society and the planetGentrack want to work with the best people, no matter their background.
