Job description: Test & Environments LeadTe whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are excited to announce a new permanent role based in Auckland for a Test & Environments Lead. This pivotal position will be responsible for leading testing and environment management across our core Enterprise Applications. As the Test & Environments Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance, system stability, and seamless releases by managing testing activities and maintaining test and development environments.This role is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on testing expertise with leadership and process improvement. You will be working with a small core test team and leveraging expertise and resources from other business units. Your experience with Enterprise Sytems will be highly valuable as you create and manage the environment plan, develop and execute test strategies and plan for core enterprise application releases and product enhancements.Mōu ake | About YouYou are a dynamic leader with a strong background in leading testing activities and managing environments. Your hands-on experience in quality assurance and system stability, combined with your expertise in following change and release processes, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You have worked with Oracle, Workday, Dynamics or similar systems, and excel in collaborating with various business units and stakeholders to ensure seamless releases and effective environment management.As a proactive leader, you are passionate about mentoring and empowering your team. Your ability to balance hands-on testing expertise with leadership and process improvement is crucial for this role. You are dedicated to quality assurance and should have:

• Extensive experience in developing and executing test strategies, frameworks, and plans for core enterprise application releases and product enhancements.
• Proficient in leading all phases of testing, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing, and regression testing.
• Skilled in defining and executing defect management processes, monitoring test progress, and communicating status.
• Expertise in overseeing the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of test, development, and production environments.
