Job description: Intro We are a worldwide leading provider of laser beam projection displays that enable tech giants from Silicon Valley to Asia to unlock their Augmented Reality revolution. Tasks Specify and design new production test equipment by understanding new products in Development. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Engineering teams. Develop comprehensive test design documentation, including test instructions, specifications, drawings, and verification plans. Coordinate with external subcontractors to implement production testing processes and training for local support teams. Provide technical support to manufacturing including hands-on debug of test systems. Contribute to project plans by providing time-scale estimates. Provide detailed cost estimates for test system development. Develop and implement test software to support the testing of new products and systems. Contribute to the company’s production engineering objectives with regard to new product introduction, process improvement and lean manufacturing. Requirements Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, or a related field. Over 5 years of professional experience in bringing technology to the market. Prior experience in productization is highly preferred. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Effective leadership and team working skills. A true team player with an open and communicative personality. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
