Job description: ENWIN Utilities Ltd., is currently accepting applications for the vacant position of:Temporary Project Manager(13 Months)Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office, the successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing software and technology-focused projects according to deadlines and within budget. The Temporary Project Manager will be responsible for defining and managing project execution from beginning to end using Project Management methodologies; planning of project tasks with duration and effort required to meet project goals and deliverables while considering scope and execution; leading a team through the project execution, tracking, and providing accurate progress reports, preparing monthly reports, operational KPI’s, capital budgets, and identifying efficiencies. The Temporary Project Manager will also be responsible to support all business units by facilitating change and improving business processes across the company through the application of continuous improvement methodologies. The position is responsible to coordinate and collaborate with all levels of the organization to identify and facilitate process improvement initiatives focused on removing waste, improving efficiency, eliminating pain points, and solving problems across the company.The successful applicant must have the following skills and competencies:
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business or related discipline or comparable combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of similar or related experience.
- Certificate in Project Management, PMP (Project Management Professional) an asset.
- Experience in project management capacity.
- Experience in leading continuous improvement projects.
- Functional knowledge of Electrical, Water and IT systems an asset.
- Demonstrated planning skills that can foresee entire project while building daily detailed tasks into project plan. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams toward well-defined goals and deliverables and effectively prioritize and execute projects.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of project management software applications such as MS Project and proficiency in MS Office.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver verbal and written reports.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders. Strong customer service orientation, both internal and external.
