Job Type: Full-timeWhat Does a Technology Procurement Manager Do in Dubai?As a Technology Procurement Manager at Dicetek, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of sourcing, negotiating, and managing IT procurement activities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across IT, finance, and operations to ensure efficient vendor selection and alignment with business objectives, while optimizing cost and performance.What Are the Key Responsibilities?– Develop and implement IT procurement strategies covering hardware, software, and services
– Collaborate with internal teams to define technology procurement needs and timelines
– Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on capability, compliance, and value delivery
– Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks
– Utilize Oracle Procurement and other ERP tools to manage purchasing workflows
– Conduct performance evaluations and cost-benefit analysis of suppliers
– Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising product or service quality
– Monitor procurement spending and report insights to senior management
– Ensure procurement operations comply with company policies and ethical standardsWhat Skills Are Required for a Technology Procurement Role in Dubai?Education and Experience:
– Bachelor\’s degree in Economics, International Trade, Business, or related field
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with 4+ years in a similar role within a banking or service industry environmentTechnical and Functional Skills:
– Familiarity with Oracle Procurement and ERP-based purchasing systems
– Strong MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS tools
– Experience in vendor analysis, evaluation matrices, SLA tracking, and performance metrics
– Understanding of local and international market dynamics in the technology sectorSoft Skills:
– Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
– High level of integrity and professional ethics
