Job description: Location: Auckland, New ZealandContract Type: Full-time Permanent ContractAs DB’s Technology Consultant – Digital Products, you will work closely with business leaders to align technologies with overall goals and optimise existing systems. You’ll oversee the Enterprise IT application portfolio, ensuring seamless operations, vendor management, and frontline IT support. Your role includes monitoring application performance, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also support enterprise IT projects, ensure global compliance, and provide after-hours support when needed. Additionally, you’ll focus on cost efficiency, vendor performance, and effective business partnering by simplifying IT solutions and enhancing user experience across DB.Key Accountabilities:

  • Enterprise IT Application Management – Monitor, maintain, and develop DB’s Enterprise IT applications to ensure effective, secure, and compliant operations.
  • Incident & Service Management – Oversee service requests, incidents, and problem resolution, connecting vendors with business and D&T users.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence.
  • Vendor & Budget Management – Manage vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and optimise operating costs within the approved budget.
  • Project & Compliance Support – Assist in IT application projects, ensure smooth transitions from project to support, and uphold global compliance standards.
  • After-Hours & Critical Support – Provide after-hours support for critical business processes and attend calls as needed.
  • Business Partnering & IT Solutions – Simplify IT solutions, communicate technical concepts clearly, and enhance user experience across DB.

Your background and experience:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of IT support experience, with expertise in managing Enterprise IT applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of business applications like SAP, Dynamics 365, Anaplan, and Cloud Products.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) and experience in agile working environments.
  • Proven experience in vendor and stakeholder management, with a focus on building strong, long-term relationships.
  • A business process expert who can translate IT solutions into value for the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams alike.
  • Experience in managing Enterprise IT projects and ensuring smooth transitions from project to support.
