You will be joining an experienced team that collaborates well with one another and support each other in challenges, solutions, and cross-project ideas. Moreover, you will act as a trusted advisor in a lead function with the responsibility to mentor Technical Product Engineers ensuring cross program alignment.As our new Technical Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the products, part documents, and technical issues on products related to large or multiple projects or programs. You will be working closely with Program Managers and production teams to secure a smooth production related to correct quality and on time delivery to the customers as well as reviewing instructions and being able to challenge and work with customers to improve part manufacturing flows.Additionally, you will be responsible for key deliverables, including ensuring that technical requirements (products) from the contract are met. You will contribute to cost reduction initiatives, part process improvements in projects and programs, and analyze parts data as well as specifying improvement activities to lower part actuals and improve flows. You will also create cost impact to Business Development and Program Managers for Non-recurring activities and change management. Finally, you will initiate and lead Product & Process Walks, where you will review, learn, challenge, and optimize (KATA).How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:
- The composite product line on the assigned project(s)
- Review and implement product changes from production and customer requests
- Initiate and lead process and product walk – seek and initiate cost reduction initiatives and part process improvements in projects and programs
- Focus on improvement opportunities, analyses of processes, justification of business cases, and implementation of solutions and products
- Technical Product support to the Program Managers and Business Development on cost, schedule, work breakdown structure and customer communication
- Engineering lead for production to support Shop Floor to best work proactively on the project
Bring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a technical level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You hold an associate, bachelor’s or a master’s degree in e.g. engineering, computer science or similar. Preferably, combined with work experience from a related field
- You have advanced IT competencies and experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, or the like. As well as experience with Basic CATIA V5 or other 3D modeling experience
- You are proficient in applying established standards and knowledge base acquired from several years of experience in related professional area
- You have strong technical competencies and experienced manufacturing knowledge of product specific processes
- You are a strong project manager and excel at presenting to a variety of stakeholders e.g. managers and customers engineers
- You work with a set of objectives that have direct impact on the achievement of results and/or have impact on others within the functional area

You are able to work independently, however, you are also a team player and take shared responsibility in ensuring efficient processes and a smooth production flow.
