How will I help?As the Technical Business Analyst for GTS Technology team, sitting with our wider WIB Technology Team, you will engage with both business and technology and work closely with colleagues across the business and technology to assist with the continued development of GTS products and offerings.Over an above a traditional BA role where you work to elaborate business requirements and work with technology teams to drive out solutions. This is a more technical/SME role, in the entitlements squad of the W1C program. You will also be responsible for designing, constructing and deploying entitlement policies in PING to drive user access and data controls on the W1C platform for both customer and internal staff. The role would suit someone very organised and technical.Major accountabilities:Stakeholder Management and Communication: Identify stakeholders and see to the maintenance of collaborative working relations; elicit and analyse business requirements and engage with, and inform key stakeholder groups.Requirements Analysis and Lifecycle Management: Ensure the project meets the needs of the customer and business and is aligned to the overall strategy by:
Best practice and Delivery Methodology compliance: Understand and adhere to enterprise methodologies and processes.Risk Management: Ensure project related risk (both project and operations) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to agreed risk frameworks (Refer Operational Risk in Projects (ORiP))Reporting: Regular status reporting as it relates to the project including progress and risksCommunity of Practice – Business Analysis: Contribute to the Westpac Group’s Community of Practice for Business Analysis, e.g. meeting attendance, knowledge up skilling/sharingPING SME. designing, constructing and deploying entitlement policies in PING to drive user access and data controlsWhat’s in it for me?You’ll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
