We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in SWIFT MX Payments to support the development of an internal user interface (UI) for exception handling and payment correction workflows. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and translating business and technical requirements into actionable UI/UX specifications to support payment processing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SWIFT MX payments, particularly in exception management and correction workflows.
Gather, document, and manage both high-level and detailed business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze and model current and future state business processes to identify gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into wireframes, user journeys, and detailed interface specifications.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to drive clarity and consensus on scope and priorities.
Define and manage scope, requirements traceability, and change control processes.
Required Qualifications:
Expert-level knowledge of SWIFT MX Payments is mandatory.
Strong understanding of SWIFT payments operations and processing workflows; prior experience in exception handling use cases is a strong asset.
Advanced experience in requirements management, including scope definition, business process modeling (e.g., BPMN), user stories, and functional specifications.
Proven ability to define and document UI/UX requirements, including mockups, wireframes, and usability workflows.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial or corporate banking domains.
Familiarity with ISO 20022 standards and payment modernization initiatives.
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (CSPO, SAFe) is a plus.
