We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in SWIFT MX Payments to join our banking technology team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a critical UI platform that enables internal users to review, resolve, and resubmit payments in exception states. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical fluency, and exceptional stakeholder collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to define and document requirements for a UI that supports exception handling of SWIFT MX payments.Translate business needs into detailed functional and UI/UX specifications that support workflow resolution and resubmission of payments.Conduct end-to-end business process analysis for SWIFT Payments operations, focusing on exception handling.Manage scope and define features in agile user stories, including acceptance criteria and workflows.Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, developers, and QA to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business goals.Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, coordinating test efforts, and validating results.Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies as part of the Agile delivery process.Required Skills & Experience:Expert-level knowledge of SWIFT MX Payments (mandatory).Strong understanding of SWIFT Payment Operations Processing (preferred).7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.Demonstrated experience in exception handling workflows and operational reconciliation of payment data.Proficient in requirements gathering, business process modelling (BPMN/UML), and use case development.Strong background working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).Experience writing UI/UX specifications and collaborating closely with design teams.Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.Nice to Have:Experience with payment message formats, validation rules, and transformation logic.Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or Balsamiq for documentation and UI mockups.Understanding of regulatory requirements related to cross-border payments.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.CBAP, CSPO, or Agile certifications are a plus.Thanks & Regards,
