Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate – IT Asset and Inventory ManagementThis role will consist of managing asset and inventory. Work Closely with: IT Tower leads (Networks, Servers, EUC, Others) for their respective IT Inventories.Responsibilities

  • IT Tower SME’s are used to manage the IT Inventory Catalogue. (New Item addition and Old Item Deletion (Item Code Creation, etc.)
  • Customs team to adhere to customs regulatory requirements related to IT Inventory. (Purchase, Movements, Disposal, and Donation).
  • Fixed Asset team for Capital Assets report out’s in terms of Qty., their valuation. 100% Physical verifications activity.
  • IT sourcing team for clarifications on delivery of IT Assets and Accessories.
  • AP team for any outstanding vendor payments.
  • IT Projects /Logistics team during new site setup, Site Closure, Migrations for planning IT Asset Movements/Procurements, etc.
  • Oracle Inventory team for new site creation and other issues related to IT Inventory module working, enhancement etc.
  • IT Compliance team to adhere to any compliance requirements related to IT Assets and Inventory.
  • Internal and external auditors are responsible for any audits being conducted related to IT inventory.
  • Approve/reject requests on the Oracle Purchasing system.
  • Manage tower requests for Movements (IUTs). Receive/analyze/Plan/Follow up/Execute.
  • Timely disposal of End-of-Life Assets as per the e-waste policy guidelines.
  • Manage Donation Requests.
  • Vendor Management and Governance for IT Inventory and Asset Management partners.
  • Regular Reviews.
  • Ensure SOPs are updated and reviewed on time.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Graduate with Experience in IT Inventory and Asset Management.
  • ITIL Certification would be an added advantage.
  • Should have worked in large organizations in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of working on ERP Tools like Oracle Financials or others.
  • Well versed with STPI and SEZ Site Procedures.
  • Good Communication Skills and service attitude.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Good in Documentation (E-Mails, MS Office, especially Excel) for leadership reporting.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Manage ITAM Inventory on the tool for production/On Floor Assets. (Desktops/Laptops/Thin Clients/Print & Scan Devices, Servers and network Devices).
  • Ensure Records are updated in a timely manner.
  • Carry out various analyses to ensure the correctness of data. (AD/SCCM/OHR Dump etc…)
  • Publish Asset Management Dashboards.
  • Plan & Drive Quarterly/Half Yearly Physical reconciliation activities.
  • Front End internal and external audits from an IT Asset Management Perspective.
  • Customer Specific Requirements & Report Outs related to IT Assets.
  • Productivity drives to recover unused assets from the floor through Floor Walks/Tracking Ramp Downs. Moving Un-utilized inventory
