  • Lead and supervise Reporting and Treasury teams • Oversee, review and/or support the month end close process including accounts reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet review, etc. • Oversee and lead Treasury function under coordination of Global Treasury team and Cash Management Teams. • Ensuring optimal cash and liquidity management, oversee cash flow forecasting • Manage, implement and drive company’s liquidity processes including intercompany funding, dividends collection and settlement processes • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of reporting package and disclosures based on US GAAP • Contribute and participate in various projects and various initiatives, including new system implementations and transformations. • Lead and perform Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and Treasury compliance for specific areas • Further development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures • Identify areas for improvement in internal processes and internal controls for SOX testing and implement the identified improvements. • Ensure quality and data integrity in the financial information and reporting deliverables provided to shareholders and senior management. • Act as a functional expert and assist with interpretation of group guidelines on local level. • Effectively collaborate with regional accounting teams on accounting topics to guarantee accurate provision of data. • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams, internal and external auditors

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance/Accounting/Treasury, preferably experience in one of Big4 companies, previous leading experience
  • University degree in Economics, Business administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards
  • Practical knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, Oracle) and exposure to accounting tools (SmartView, Hyperion) is a strong plus
  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot table);
  • Knowledge of general ledger, financial accounting, reporting, treasury processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with internal controls is desired, but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Independent and structured approach to work as well as excellent team player
  • Assertive personality and ability to form your own opinion and judgement in subject matters
  • Excellent command of business English (spoken and written), German is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to build and share knowledge in the team and across teams
  • Leadership skills and good time management
  • Process and deadline-oriented
  • Problem-solving attitude, ownership of tasks and “hands on” approach to work
