Job description: Job titleTeam Lead, MGP OperationsGradeStreamE&PFunctionOperated Assets – Operations – MGP – Operations MGPLocationOman- MusandamBudget control*OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant*Reporting toManager, MGP PlantDirect reports25Job purposeLead, plans and program of Operations Operated Assets MGP Plant Upstream, under general direction, and with delegated authority from, Manager MGP Plant, acting as (1) owner of the Asset with full responsibility to govern, manage, guide, assure, operate and control the safe, smooth, reliable and most profitable day-to-day Operations processes, as per the agreed targets across all stages of production while maintaining operating expenditures and Operate the Facilities 24 hours/day, and (2) prudent operator in compliance with license to operate requirements, ensure safety, production, plant integrity and process safety, availability, utilization, energy consumption, cost, emergency response, and product(s) quality targets to support yearly and longer-term plans and objectives for gross margin and profitability of the business are achieved or exceeded, (3) Provide efficient and effective guidance operations to Field Operators and Control Room Operators , as per the agreed target quantities and qualities across all stages of production while maintaining operating expenditures, (4) Develop and implement all the technical operations training programs related to plant equipment and operations, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety / emergency response procedures; in order to meet or exceed the set targets, (5) Manage the day to day operations of the gas processing plant with the sense of optimization and safely operation, (6) Manage the associated several stakeholders in short and long term conditions, (7) Work as MGP plant manager upon given delegation, (8) Work as Operation Chief during the emergency response situation and as Incident commander whenever necessary.The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilities

• As owner of the Asset accountable for all HSE, production, reliability, cost and margin results, inspire operational excellence in staff through clear expression of the corporate vision and direction of the business.
• Lead by example as sponsor for HSE and process safety including human factors and company resource management (CRM) ensuring reliable operations and zero harm to people, assets and environment by complying with zero tolerance regarding HSSE principles and rules.
• Oversee the day-to-day area operations according to established requirements in all respects, using OQ Operated Assets – operation framework in order to achieve or exceed production
• Prepare and lead scheduled activities for Operations Supervisor, Operations Engineer, Field Operators and Control Room Operators in order to assure efficient and effective continue operation
• Maintain optimum plant reliability and safety to avoid premature breakdown by ensuring effective implementation and execution of scheduled inspections and maintenance, assuring program support by completing appropriate feedback and following up on actions through of guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Execute and drive budget planning monitoring and control of OPEX and CAPEX costs against Budget and identify cost reduction opportunities then drive initiatives and performance improvements in order to contribute to EBITDA gain and maximize profitability.
• Manage and lead by example transparency and openness in all respects, driving continuous improvement to proactively achieve highest operating integrity, reliability, productivity and performance in compliance with best industry practices while driving down overall cost.
• Ensure accurate and timely standard management reports including but not limited to plans, programs, risks and mitigation actions, new opportunities, challenges, critical issues, potential solutions, to give strategic and tactical insights to promote and implement corrective actions across the Asset.
• Proactively ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration between departments consistent with vision and mission of the business.
• Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times
• Manages and controls the daily activities of Operators and ensures the production plant, processes and equipment are functioning efficiently
• Manage the PTW system to ensure optimum control and safety of all personnel working on the site.
• Ensure Production Reporting is completed efficiently.
• Ensure the production team consider all opportunities to maximise plant efficiency and safety.
• Ensure process fluids are exported to agreed procedures and quality, including Sales Gas, LPG Road tanker and VLCC offshore tanker loading.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, or related.

Language requirementsExcellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required)Background and experienceCompetencies and skills

• 10+ years of total experience, minimum 6 years of relevant experience in similar leadership role.
• Good knowledge of upstream Plant Operation technologies & Planning techniques
• Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in engineering field.
• Experience with sour gas operation and offshore crude oil export terminal operation.
• Good knowledge in HSE / SCE equipment & plans.
• Knowledge in estimating, budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated leadership impact to deliver improved and sustained performance.
• Proven experience with Personal Safety Management.
• Proven Emergency Response experience.
• Upstream Operation Planning and Scheduling – including use of computer-based tools.
