Enquiries about the post specification can be forwarded to Prof. Nancy Su, Head of the School of Accounting and Finance.DutiesThe appointee will be required to:(a) teach subjects relating to Economics or related disciplines, and undertake related pedagogical activities at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels;(b) contribute to programme/curriculum design, development and administration, and engage actively in scholarly activities;(c) provide support for academic and departmental affairs; and(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School or her delegates.QualificationsApplicants should have:(a) a PhD degree in Economics;(b) good subject knowledge, skills and competence in the appropriate academic or professional discipline;(c) a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and professional service; and(d) an excellent command of English and good communication skills.Preference will be given to those with relevant teaching experience in tertiary institutions.Conditions of ServiceA highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.
