  • Background: University degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics, Finance or equivalent degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in Tax, in an advisory or in-house role.
  • Dealing with ambiguity- Comfortably handles unclear or unpredictable situations.
  • Translate expert knowledge into the system landscape and be able to act in a changing and complex environment.
  • Good communication skills are required to be able to understand and explain complex matters to people with different backgrounds.
  • Driving for results – Accomplishes goals, completes tasks, and achieves results.
  • Teamwork- Collaborates with others to achieve goals.
  • Language skills: Ideally, you communicate fluently in Danish and English, both in writing and speech, to effectively liaise with coworkers and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities (title) Your responsibilitiesKey responsibilities (text) • Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and other statutory tax returns, including reconciliations and documentation in line with internal controls.

  • Maintain compliance with local tax regulations and Ingka Group policies, managing tax payments, provisions, and audit-ready records.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and advisors on tax filings, audits, and inspections, ensuring completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and report on tax risks and opportunities, including appeals, corrective filings, and compliance with the IKEA Group Tax Control Framework.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions, collaborating with Group Tax and global teams.
  • Administer sugar tax (punktafgifter) and withholding tax processes, ensuring timely submissions and proper documentation.
  • Provide tax insights to cross-functional teams and contribute to local and global projects, enhancing tax awareness and supporting strategic decisions.

  • The position is an average of 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary. Working hours are between 8-16 on weekdays, but we are flexible, and you can also work from home.
  • Salary within IKEA’s salary policy is based on your skills and includes pension.
