They work alongside their members throughout their lives, saving them over 22 million dollars through year-round collaboration on optimal tax strategies and planning, allowing them to focus on what matters most: running their businesses and enriching their communities.Position OverviewAs a Tax Advisor, you will take the time to understand Member’s financial situations and provide tailored tax strategies that minimize taxes in both the short and long term. In addition, you will introduce them to the full range of services, including bookkeeping, legal assistance, payroll, and access to financial and estate planning professionals. This includes support in areas such as estate planning, retirement planning, and cash flow management, as their needs arise.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Tax Advisor, you will:

  • Provide exceptional tax and accounting advice to members.
  • Foster strong relationships with members and secure member referrals.
  • Recognize member needs and connect them with our other domain experts within the company and network.
  • Participate in community events.

What you Will BringExperience:

  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience with a tax preparation or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, preferably with Profile or Tax Cycle. iFirm/ Taxprep knowledge would be desirable.
  • Experience preparing corporate tax returns.
  • Experience preparing tax returns for farms and small businesses is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Superior client service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines.

In this role you will travel to your customers locally, and will be provided with Travel allowance.
