Job description: Tableau Developer, MidKey Role:Analyzes business or operating procedures to devise the most efficient method of accomplishing the work. Plans the study of work problems and procedures, gathers and analyzes data, organizes and documents findings of studies, and prepares recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Collates information into meaningful reports and presentation material. Performs data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. Analyzes project requirements, including program scheduling, critical path analyses, and project support and resource requirement determination. Fully participates in impact studies, cost and benefit analyses, dependency models, and employs appropriate project tracking methodologies. Capable of conducting root-cause and corrective action analysis. Possess a working knowledge of statistics and is able to assess correlation. Able to produce visualizations to communicate findings through the use of tables and charts. Proficient with Tableau enough to produce advanced charts in the others.Basic Qualifications:3+ years of experience working with data in a professional environment3+ years of experience with data visualization, including TableauKnowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approachesAbility to display a keen eye for detail, connect the dots, and dig deeper to uncover stories and trends in dataAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor’s degreeAdditional Qualifications:Experience in the Military, specifically U.S. Navy or U.S. Naval AviationExperience with SQL, R, SAS, Python, or Tableau PrepExperience with data structures and systems in a DoD environmentAbility to work collaboratively and effectively across different functional groupsMaster’s degreeTableau Desktop CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
