Job Type: ContractOur client is seeking an experienced Tableau Business Intelligence Analyst with strong data warehousing expertise and advanced Tableau development and administration skills. This role focuses on leveraging data to support business insights and improve decision-making across multiple departments, including finance, operations, and HR. Your role will focus on gathering business requirements and designing Tableau dashboards that support data-driven decision-making across multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:– Collaborate with finance, operations, and HR teams to gather and document business requirements for data analysis and reporting.
– Develop and design interactive Tableau dashboards, transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
– Act as Tableau administrator, managing user permissions, data source connections, and performance optimization.
– Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data from various sources, ensuring dashboards are fed by well-structured, consistent data.
– Leverage data warehousing expertise to optimize and structure data for efficient reporting and dashboard performance.
– Present insights and findings to the executive team, translating technical data into meaningful business insights.
– Manage all phases of business analysis, including requirement gathering, dashboard design, documentation, and delivery.
– Conduct regular check-ins with cross-functional teams to align on data needs, address issues, and ensure continuous improvement of reporting solutions.Required Skills and Experience:– 7+ years as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence, data analysis, and data visualization.
– Proficiency in Tableau development and administration, with experience managing user roles, data connections, and performance tuning.
– Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, SQL, Snowflake and experience working with large datasets.
– Excellent presentation skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
– Excellent documentation skills to clearly capture business requirements, processes, and data structures.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Interested?
