This is your opportunity to translate real-world customer needs into advanced, high-performing solutions – all while working in a global, cross-functional team committed to innovation and sustainability.Job ResponsibilitiesAs our new System & Control Engineer, you’ll take part in the full development cycle – from initial concept to final validation – of advanced electrohydraulic steering systems. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to develop intelligent steering functions that meet demanding functional safety requirementsYour key responsibilities will include:Translating customer requirements into technical concepts, system architectures, and functional safety specificationsDeveloping model-based control systems using MATLAB/SimulinkPerforming integration and validation testing in internal and external labsSupporting customers with troubleshooting and application design to optimize system performanceLeading proof-of-concept development for new electric & electrohydraulic steering technologiesCollaborating with universities and external partners on modeling and simulation to enhance product capabilitiesContributing to quality claim analysis and continuous improvement initiativeWhat Success Looks LikeElectric & Electrohydraulic steering products and systems that meet or exceed customer expectationsHigh-performing steering functions with best-in-class functional safetyStrong collaboration and fast response times with customers and internal teamsSimulation models that enable faster development and system optimizationBackground & SkillsTo thrive in this role, you’ll bring curiosity, collaboration, and a structured engineering mindset. Ideally, you have:A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Software, or Mechatronics EngineeringExperience in product development (new graduates are also encouraged to apply)Knowledge of control engineering – both theoretical and practicalExperience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based system designFamiliarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 (a plus)Understanding of hydraulic systems and off-highway applications (a plus)Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbalFor job-specific enquiries, please contact Rasmus Grosser, Sr. Manager Engineering:
