As a member of the Markets IT Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE), you will act as the System Architect to shape the future functional infrastructure in the Markets division with stronger focus on Sales & Advisory and Middle-office processes.You will work closely with the Product Owners, Scrum masters and the Agile Squads to drive the delivery of the roadmap for the journey ahead of us, to enable further digital services and offerings to our clients. This senior architect role enables you to closely collaborate with Business owners, Product managers and IT stakeholders to unlock the Markets potential and elaborate and present innovative and efficient solutions up to C-Level. The role calls for a foundation of strong business acumen and knowledge of a global Markets environment, experience with Markets Product issuing supported by profound functional and technical architecture expertise.YOUR CHALLENGECollaborate closely with Markets leadership and key stakeholders to support definition of Markets target and transition architecture, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture vision and objectivesYou support the definition and execution of the Markets Architecture governance and ensure your ATS is compliant with architectural standards, policies and guidelinesYou partner with your business peers and develop together a vision, key business capabilities and processes in the context of the Agile tribe setYou own the solution blueprint and define transition roadmaps with concrete input for Markets OVS to achieve the target application landscapeYou understand the trends and drivers in the financial industry, markets & technology and propose innovative and sound solutions with your business partnersYou empower Agile squads to deliver fit for purpose solutions and support them with any architecture relevant topicsYou facilitate the digital transformation and roll out of global solutions finding the right balance between scalability, operability, flexibility and geographical adoptionYOUR PROFILEProven multi-year experience as a System Architect within financial industry or consulting with banking focusGood understanding of Markets environment, preferably with past responsibility for architecture and design in previous projectsExperience with various integration technologies (e.g., streaming, messaging, web services)At least 7 years of experience as web software developer (e.g., Java, .Net, Java Script, React, Angular, relational databases, No SQL databases)Knowledge and curiosity in current technologies, technology trends, and financial market developmentsKnowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and toolsFluent English and good German languge skillsAdditional or preferred qualifications:Knowledge of structured products issuing platformsKnowledge of financial market data and data feedsExperience in re-designing and simplifying the complex enterprise architectureEducation:University or FH degree in Computer ScienceAdditional or preferred education:Training in Financial ProductsCertification in business architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is highly desirableSoftskills:Passionate about technology with a “can do” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit in getting things done in a fast-paced environment of continuous changeExperience to work in an Agile environment is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to technical and business stakeholders on the company, domain, and team levelStrong personal drive with good organizational skills, analytical, pragmatic and problem-solving mind-setWe only consider candidates who can start immediately.We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
