The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, External Asset Managers (EAMs). The Relationship Manager at the EAM Desk plays a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with external asset managers. This position is essential for driving business growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and enhancing the bank’s reputation in the competitive private banking sector.By providing top-class, high-touch service, you will contribute to the growth of Assets Under Management (AUM) and related revenues while focusing on the servicing, retention, and growth of our existing client base.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high-quality relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional proactive service.
• Deliver a high-touch service to our EAM client base, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Accurately and efficiently carry out ongoing administrative tasks associated with account relationships, including necessary remediation exercises.
• Process client buy/sell instructions across all asset classes, as well as manage FX and cash deposits.
• Assist in cash management and liquidity requirements to support client lending needs.
• Manage due diligence and take-on procedures for new clients, maintaining accurate client records in line with bank policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including KYC reviews and AML annual reviews.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct all business in accordance with the rules and guidelines of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and Investec’s compliance standards.
• Align business practices with Investec values by collaborating with relevant parties and treating customers fairly.
• Participate in annual portfolio performance reviews alongside the Discretionary Management team
• Oversee queries related to client accounts to ensure appropriate service levels.
• Refer client relationships to other Investec Group members to enhance client relevance and strengthen relationships.

Core Skills and Knowledge:

• Service-oriented and client-centric mindset with a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by the International Wealth & Investment Management business.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with excellent organizational skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively while leading by example and prioritizing workloads effectively.
• Degree educated and/or possess relevant industry experience; CWMA Certificate is preferred.

Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of compliance considerations, including the regulatory environment and relevant processes.
• Ability to implement Investec Investment team procedures and contribute to internal forums.
• Capability to identify and assess material business risks effectively.
