Job description: As a Surveyor at Doveworth Limited, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and assessments of land and construction sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all projects comply with legal regulations and standards while maintaining the highest quality of work. Your expertise will contribute to the planning, design, and execution phases of various construction projects.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners.
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and plans for project stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to provide accurate site information.
Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, regulations, and safety standards during surveying activities.
Analyze survey data to identify potential issues or discrepancies in project designs.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals by providing accurate quantity take-offs from survey data.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surveying technology advancements and best practices.
Provide mentorship to junior surveyors and support their professional development.Skills, Knowledge and Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., Licensed Land Surveyor) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying or construction-related roles.
Proficient in using surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS applications.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data interpretation.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.In Return
