If you are proactive, have a strong focus on purchasing, customer service and stakeholder experience, and understand inventory and stock management processes including working with 3PL companies, then this is a fantastic opportunity worth exploring!Some key day to day tasksDevelop and maintain supply plans that align with forecasts and inventory targetsNetstock Champion – Master file changes and transactional oversightManage supply across North and South Island 3PL warehousesLiaise with 3PL warehouses, suppliers and freight forwarder to manage inboundsInventory managementMonitor performance metrics- supplier lead times, case fill rate, international freightPrimary Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) buyerManaging IT systems and providing company user supportSupport new product rollouts and manage supply constraints.The ideal experience:5 years in a purchasing, supply planning, stakeholder management roleCome from the FMCG or importing sectorHave exposure to inventory / stock managementIf you are looking for a varied role that involves both customer and supplier engagement, gives you the chance to troubleshoot, and lets you be part of the importing process, this could be the perfect fit.
