The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of parts from suppliers to our warehouses.In this exciting role, you will play a critical role in optimising our supply chain for efficiency and cost effectiveness, while ensuring alignment with our commitment to ESG principles.If you are a passionate leader with a strong track record in supply chain management and a growth mindset, we encourage you to apply!The successful candidate with be provided with full and comprehensive support and training.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily management of our purchasing team.
• Managing suppliers, including performance evaluation and negotiations.
• Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers
• Regular collaboration, support, and auditing, of existing suppliers to ensure compliance, ethical sourcing practices and alignment with our carbon reduction and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• Production and management of tenders.
• Inter-departmental liaison with relevant stakeholder including Research and Development, Product Design, QA and Sales.
• Supplier contingency planning and management of supplier risk management programs.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchase management, with a proven track record of optimising processes and driving efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or qualified / part qualified CIPS.
• Proven track record of managing and leading a team.
• Have a genuine interest in procurement practices.
• Passionate about sustainability practices and customer focus.
• Strategic knowledge of supply chain management.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, confident, and proactive.
• Commercially aware.
• An effective team player.
• A change champion.
• Good IT, literacy, numerical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Terms and Conditions:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (subject to the needs of the role).
• 30-minute lunch break.
• Monthly Pay in arrears by the 28th day of each month.
