You will ensure stability of supply while maximizing cost efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards in procurement and logistics operations. Please note that this is a one-year contract role.More about your responsibilities:

• Supplier & Procurement Management: Collaborate with internal teams to efficiently procure materials while ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Purchase Orders & Expediting: Prepare, submit, and follow up on purchase orders, expediting deliveries as required to maintain supply continuity.
• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, acting as the main contact and identifying opportunities to improve quality, cost, and availability.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
• Inventory Management: Leverage ERP systems to manage inventory replenishment, ensuring efficient, predictable, and cost-effective operations.
• Logistics Support: Track and trace shipments, providing support for logistics duties and resolving any issues.
• Data & Forecast Management: Maintain material master data in ERP, including supplier costs, and support forecasting efforts as needed.

What you’ll bring

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain roles, including procurement.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• PMAC (Purchasing Management Association of Canada) designation is an asset.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or similar.
• Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on supplier engagement.
