• Supplier Management:

• Develop and maintain a robust supplier quality assurance program.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and company requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Quality Assurance and Control:

• Develop inspection plans and quality control procedures for supplier-provided products and components.
• Perform incoming inspections and testing to verify supplier compliance.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, such as quality plans, test reports, and certificates of conformity.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:

• Investigate quality issues related to supplier-provided products and components.
• Perform root cause analysis and work with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by suppliers.
• Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement projects and best practices.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate new quality assurance techniques and tools.
• Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain detailed quality assurance records and reports.
• Summarize supplier performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in the preparation of quality-related documentation for internal and external audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier quality practices.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and suppliers to address quality concerns effectively.
• Training and Mentorship:

• Provide training to suppliers on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and contribute to their professional development.

To succeed, you will needEducation & Experience

• College or undergraduate degree in engineering, quality management or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, preferably in the automation equipment manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluent in English speaking and writing
• Good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy
