If you’re ready for your next career move and want to be part of an organisation with a proud success story, this could be your opportunity.Your Next Role: Supplier Performance SpecialistOur Consumer Property Claims team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and we’re on the lookout for a Supplier Performance Specialist to join our dedicated team.In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the performance of property suppliers across Vero NZ and associated brands. Your focus will be on driving improvements in cost control, customer service, quality, compliance, and innovation. You’ll also be the key point of contact for suppliers-handling queries, resolving escalations, and delivering performance insights that support our strategic goals.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement improvement strategies for the property supplier portfolio.
• Oversee contract terms, tenure, and supplier performance (SLAs and KPIs).
• Monitor claim leakage and collaborate with stakeholders on effective solutions.
• Manage supplier audits and identify opportunities to optimise supplier performance and improve customer experience.
• Assist in identifying and proposing new suppliers/category management and/or sourcing opportunities for the property network
• Resolve supplier disputes and manage escalated complaints.
• Collaborate on simple sourcing solutions, including the design and execution of commercial contracts.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in performance management at a senior level (mandatory).
• Background in general insurance or related sectors (desirable).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement or trade (desirable).
• Strong project and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Data-savvy with the ability to interpret market and pricing trends.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and build trust across internal teams and suppliers.
• Results-driven, organised, and decisive-able to balance pace with precision.
