Job description: The Supervisor will oversee construction activities related to water distribution infrastructure, including reservoirs, pipelines, mechanical installations, and structural components.The role involves managing site operations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This position reports to the Project Manager or Construction Manager.Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:Supervise daily construction works for reservoirs, water pipelines (DI, HDPE, GRP, etc.), mechanical installations (valves, pumps, chambers), and associated structures.Ensure that work is performed in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.Technical Oversight:Review engineering drawings, method statements, and work procedures.Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and construction crews.Coordination & Reporting:Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely execution of works.Prepare daily progress reports and submit to the project/construction manager.Identify site issues and propose practical solutions.Quality Assurance & Safety:Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and health & safety regulations.Monitor inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.Participate in audits and safety toolbox talks.Resource Management:Monitor usage of manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain efficiency.Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.SKC Management is recruiting from India for this position and prefers Indian candidates to apply for this role.
