Job description: Job titleGradeStreamE&PFunctionOperated Asset -OPS-B60 – MaintenanceLocationOman – Block 60 Field BaseBudget control*OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant*Reporting toTL B60 MaintenanceDirect reportsTBCJob purposeCoordinates and supervise the Instrument Maintenance Works and the designated team for SF B60 and all related operations under Manager Maintenance scope as, as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards to maintain the assets through: (1) Leading the design Maintenance Instrument services on planned / un-planned maintenance works implementing the best practices, (2) Coordination and supervision of assets, products and maintenance work for B60 SF (3) Implement plans and coordinate instrument maintenance works (4) Lead the designated staff (team) and external contractors in performing Instrument maintenance services on planned / un-planned maintenance (CM, PM & TA) activities; in order to ensure equipment availability, reliability & optimization of cost / resources while facilitating smooth operations of the facilities to meet production targets.The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilitiesGeneral:

• Maintains technical expertise in functional areas of process instrumentation.
• Implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan within his section.
• Prepares procurement plan for his section.
• Reviews policies of warehouse materials/spare parts and determines strategy of their handling and procurement
• Carries out the technical evaluation of bids and generate the evaluation report.
• Develops IDP of Omanis within the section, prepares training programs and monitors their implementation
• Participate in Management of Change (MOC) committee review meetings.
• Monitors staff attendance, attitude and implements discipline within the section.
• Prepare annual leave plans.

Instruments:

• Directs, supervises and controls all work for instruments maintenance and calibration.
• Receives and analyses periodic reports on instruments maintenance and scheduled turnarounds and determines the best course of action for increasing the Section’s efficiency.
• Provides full technical & manpower support during day to day, operations, major maintenance or emergencies.
• Determines long-term instrument maintenance policy and oversees detailed planning of maintenance activities and programs.
• Coordinates efforts within the Section to develop guidelines, specifications, best practices and procedures for maintenance of pressure, level, flow, temperature, vibration and pH instruments.

• Hands on experience at managerial level in Oil & Gas disciplines.
• Experienced in resource control, contract management and general management.
