Job description: Job SummaryThe Vice President will be responsible for driving strategy, market expansion, and growth for the banks operations in India. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, developing market entry strategies, and strengthening the banks competitive positioning in India services and financial sector. The ideal candidate should have expertise in banking, market analysis, and regulatory frameworks in India.Key Responsibilities:Commercial Strategy & Market Positioning

• Develop and execute the banks strategy for India, aligning with global business goals
• Identify opportunities, market segments, and revenue streams .
• Evaluate and implement strategic partnerships, alliances, and expansion plans
• Enhance the banks brand positioning and competitive edge in the Indian services and financial market
• Identify key industry sectors and customer segments to drive penetration

Market & Competitive Analysis

• Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis to assess market opportunities
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and evolving customer needs in India
• Benchmark against competitors to refine business strategies and value propositions

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all commercial strategies comply with global/ local regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams to assess potential risks associated with business expansion

Stakeholder Management & Leadership Engagement

• Present insights, strategies, and business growth plans to senior leadership
• Collaborate with global teams to align India’s strategy with corporate objectives
• Engage with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies to stay ahead of regulatory changes

• Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization with proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders including senior c-suite executives, team members, and managers to drive successful completion of the work

• Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to internal and external audiences
• Strong work-ethic with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Completed degree, preferably with a financial or business discipline (MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience)
• Significant management consulting and corporate strategy experience
• 10+ years of work experience with top-tier strategy consulting experience preferred
• Significant exposure to Financial Services and banking, with exposure to asset management, asset servicing, data and analytics, capital markets preferred
• Strong experience in shaping organization’s strategy and making decisive bets to advance the strategy
